Hi all, my apologies to the new users of the last 6 months or so, it works now and should have gotten an approval email. On that note, the website software needs a major upgrade (this Joomla / Community Builder version is from 2005!), so if anyone has CMS system skills they want to put to use, let me know. Doing a 7 year upgrade while keeping the user data in the right places sounds like it will be a bit labor intensive, but I'll probably get around to it if no one else has already been there / done that. The phone number in the "Contact Us" section is the most sure-fire way to let me know if you have a login problem or just don't seem have gotten a registration confirmation. On a side note: If any USS Cape Cod people stumble across this, the USSCapeCod.com domain expires 7/1/2012. I currently have it and will happily transfer it to an interested Cape Cod person (and would have for since I've had it). GoDaddy is starting to get expensive, so I'm shedding domains. |

Paul Broadway is organizing the West Coast reunion that will be held August 5th through the 7th at the Don Diego VFW Post at 2100 Logan Avenue in San Diego (right under the Coronado Bay Bridge). The VFW has very cheap drinks, by the way. At the moment, Paul is planning tours of the USS Midway and the Veteran Museum and a brunch on Sunday. Paul can be reached at (619) 284-2331. |
